Invitation to Bid

INVITATION TO BID PROJECT: POWDER RIVER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SECURITY UPGRADES BROADUS, MT 59317 Sealed bids will be received, publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 PM, Mountain Daylight Time, Monday, January 27, 2020 to the Powder River County Sheriff’s Office, Powder River County Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Square, Broadus, MT 59317. The project will construct a new sallyport utilizing hardened walls, ballistic pass through window and doors with ballistic protection as necessary to secure the Powder River County Sheriff’s office and dispatch. Additional work includes adjusting diffusers and providing new 2x4 lighting. New camera and TV monitor locations will be shown on plans but provided for by the County. A pre-bid conference will not be scheduled. Interested contractors will need to contact Shane Copps at 406-436-2333 to schedule a pre-bid walk through. Bids will be received for a single Contract. Digital copies of the Bidding Documents are available from Slate Architecture, 1470 North Roberts St., Helena, MT 59601 by contacting Scott Cromwell at 406-457-0360. One copy of the Bidding Documents will be made available for review on site at the Powder River County Courthouse only. Additional hardcopies will not be made available. Each bid or proposal must be in a sealed envelope and accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to Powder River County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Bonding and insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The Contract shall comply with all fair labor practices and shall meet the requirements of the State of Montana statutes. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Architect in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents.
