The 14th annual Scramble 4 a Cure was a huge success, with 18 teams competing on Friday and 20 teams on Saturday. Unfortunately, weather cancelled play on Friday night, and the day’s event was made into a 9 hole tournament. The team of Ryan Varner, Marissa Packinaeu, Chad Varner and Mandi Varner won gross with 29. First place in Net went to John, Diane, Dave Barbero and Hayle Trucano with a 15!

Saturday dawned bright and clear, making for a beautiful day of golf, which also meant tournament goers were able to enjoy all 18 holes. The team of Hayden Peters, Shawn Benson, Austin Walter, and Jhett Braley won gross with a 52. First place net went to Lee Turnbough, McQ Burley, James Riley, and Madison Collins with a 29.75.

We really appreciate all of the golfers that continue to support this tournament. The event raised $18,000 for the cancer fund, to help individuals fighting cancer in our community. In the last 13 years we have been able to send out over $143,000.00!
