Moonlight Walk -- Register Today!

September 7, 2018

The Moonlight Walk is set for the next full moon – the September Harvest Moon. The Walk will take place at the Rolling Hills Golf Course on Monday night, September 24th. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m., and walking will take place between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the best “Glow” costume for both men and women and is sponsored by the Powder River County Tobacco Prevention Coalition.

The event is a fundraiser for building a trail system in Broadus. To date, the Powder River Trails organization has purchased benches for the walking trail that runs along the highway through town, and is developing a fitness trail behind the B-Hill.

For the Moonlight Walk, youth ages 18 and under are free. Adults are $20, and t-shirts are extra. Contact the Extension Office at 436-2424 to register for the Moonlight Walk. The event is sponsored by the Powder River Trails Club and the Powder River County Tobacco Prevention Coalition.
