Documents filed in District Court show that two cases were ruled upon by Judge Michael Hayworth, on Sept 6, 2018.

Bram Schaffer of Broadus pled guilty to an amended 3rd DUI charge, stemming from an arrest which took place on April 13th in Broadus, where Bram was pulled over for going 43 in a 30 mile per hour zone, at 202 S Park. Bram was sentenced to pay $2500 in fines, plus court costs and other fees. He also must attend chemical dependency counseling, his license was suspended, and he was ordered to serve 30 days in county jail.

Gene Davis, age 56, pled guilty to a bad check charge from 2015. In March of 2014, Davis issued fifteen bad checks at the Montana and Big Sky Bars, totaling $2260. The felony charge carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years, and up to 50K in fines. Sentencing for Davis will take place on October 3.
