Decorated hay bales were part of the Broadus Hawk homecoming celebration and decorated the curb extensions in downtown Broadus. "Angry Birds" was created by Gatlin Construction, Barbero Auto and Ag, 1st Bank and Powder River Petals. They receive the $100 prize sponsored by Pumps Etc. People's choice voting for your favorite decorated hay bale is underway. Go to msuextension.org/powerriver or place your paper ballot in containers at a downtown business.
