September weather goes from summer to winter, skips fall

Folks in the high country woke up Tuesday to snow. In the Hammond area the snow accumulated deep enough for Layla Brownfield to make a snow angel. The snow melted fast, but appeared again in the higher reaches Wednesday. (Photo courtesy Jay Brownfield)
