Light of Love Memorial Continues

December 6, 2018

The Christmas Holiday Season is approaching and some of us must face the season with only memories of past holidays shared with loved ones we have lost. Others may be celebrating the holidays without family members who are serving in the military. Or has someone or an organization impacted your life in a positive way? Why not take the opportunity to remember all the loved ones that you miss, an organization or person(s) that has impacted your life, or the dedicated men and women in the military by giving a monetary donation in their name. All donations will benefit community projects in the area.

The School Community Development Council is sponsoring the annual “Light of Love” Memorial. To recognize a person, passed or living, or an organization that has helped you, pick up a form at the Senior Center, Post Office, Library, or the Extension Office. Forms can also be found on the School Community Development Council’s website at http://www.prscdc.com

The “Light of Love” tree will be on display at the Senior Center with ornaments labeled with names of people who have impacted the lives of many. A list of names will also be on display in the window of the Senior Center.

If you have any questions or need more information please call School Community Development Council members Kelda Page, 427-5181, or Karen Amende, 436-2047.
