Numerous wrecks keep first responders busy

Last week a semi driver engaged in some offroad driving practice in order to plow into the old Belle Creek gym, providing the building with some un-needed ventilation.

The arrival of inclement, wintery weather has provided a source of endless calls for local law enforcement, ambulance, and fire department services, as they respond to the myriad vehicle wrecks on icy roads.

The incidents kicked off around the 7th of November, when the first somewhat major storm of the season rolled through, coating the highways over the divides in ice. A rollover incident just past the weigh station resulted from icy roads, with no injuries.
