Powder River Examiner -

The Third Annual CTD Memorial Predator Hunt took place over the weekend, hosted by the Powder River Stockman’s Club. 31 teams competed in the two day event, with 50 coyotes brought in over the weekend. The winning team of Gabe Havener and Chaz Bends brought in 9 coyotes. Locals Dan Bird and Jason Madsen won second place with 6 coyotes. Gene, Sutton, Vernon, and Blaine Small brought in 5 coyotes for third place. Locals Tyler and Mike Denson and James Draine took fourth place with 5 coyotes. The overall weight of their kills was less than that of the Smalls’.

Troy Amsden won a 17 caliber youth rifle raffle, sponsored by Mike & Lynell Denson, with Jerett Turnbough winning the 204 rifle, courtesy of Broadus Feed & Supply and the PR Stockman’s Club.
