"I loved the science workshop!!!" exclaimed one participant at the annual 4-H Mini-Congress planned and facilitated by Teen 4-H members and Powder River Extension. Twenty-six elementary aged youth attended the event held last week at the Powder River County District High School. The event featured the movie "Coco" – in much the same way Dia de los Muertos is a way for all family to spend time together, 4-H Mini-Congress provides a way for 4-H and non-members to enjoy educational activities and workshops together.

Karena Appleman shared her interest and enthusiasm of Science, leading a workshop where participants made ping-pong ball shooters, edible play dough, and a squishy stressball. All three creations were popular with the Mini-Congress gang.
