Truck wreck closes Hwy 212, munitions blown up

A wreck involving three semi-trucks just west of Hammond shut down traffic along Highway 212 for nearly a day. Sunday night at around 9 pm, a ground blizzard caused two semis to wreck and block traffic, while another semi went off into the ditch, and down into a ravine alongside the road, miraculously staying upright.

Official reports from the incident indicated that no one was hurt, though a local resident said that a passenger from one of the trucks was transported from the scene with injuries.
