What a difference a century makes - The picture on top, taken nearly 100 years ago from atop B-Hill, shows a developing Broadus nestled on a sagebrush flat. A picture taken from the same location earlier this week shows a fully fledged, modern center of commerce for the now 100 year old Powder River County. As a point of reference, note the old bank building in both photos, which is now the Senior Center and Top of the Stairs Dance Studio.
