Betty Aye named as 1989 Ag Person of the Year

Epsie area ranchwoman Betty Aye has been named as the 1989 Powder River Ag Person of the Year.

As the recipient, Mrs. Aye was recognized Monday night at the Powder River Commercial Club’s annual Ag ceremony.

Criteria for selecting the award recipient includes his or her contributions to agriculture on the state, national and local levels, as well as contributions to their communities in other areas. Mrs. Aye had the honor of being nominated by two separate individuals.
