Steps for Charity Challenge

We can see the FINISH LINE!

The charities highlighted this week are:

Pregnancing Outreach Center –Walking By Faith, the team sponsored by Powder River Lanes includes Luke Herzog (a.k.a. Jeff Barry), Tom Herzog, and Bob and Darlene Salomon. Walking By Faith chose this charity “that helps young women and men with unexpected pregnancy, parenting and grief counseling for lost babies, all with a Christian influence.”

Powder River Trails – Five teams chose this charity including:

1) Happy Feet who are Bert Farnes, Karen Gunther, Marge Mader, and Karen Amende;

2) Denbury Highwalkers, sponsored by Denbury, includes Kitty Riggs, Anna Schulz, Caitlin Riggs and Kristi Mobley,

3) Cornerstore Workers, sponsored by The Cornerstore, the team members are Jordan Dooley, Joey Murdoch, Cassie Dooley and Steven Preite;

4) BRR, and team members are Elizabeth Reierson, James Riley, Phil Reierson and Kelsey Bird

5) The Lunch Crew, sponsored by Gone Ropin’ Construction, includes team members Alyson & Raymond Ragsdale, Kelda Page, and Chrystal Mitchell

The Powder River Trails helped organize the following projects:

^Benches along the trails

^Fit Trail behind B-Hill

^Broadus Community Garden Project

^4th of July Freedom Run

^Moonlight Walk

^STEPS for Charity

Funding sources include: School Community Development Council, Cans for Kids, the Montana Recreational Trails Program and the National Park Service.

All funds support a safe walking environment and walkable community.
