Track Team competes in Miles City, Coulter at Top 10 Meet


Last week Kiarah Coulter competed in the Top 10 Track Meet in Laurel, a prestigious invitation only event featuring the top track athletes from the region. Kiarah is pictured above with Broadus Head Track Coach Jerry Coulter.

"Miles City was a challenging meet," Broadus Head Track Coach Jerry Coulter commented on his team's last regular season meet, during a Monday interview. Broadus attended the Miles City Meet last weekend, where they faced off against tough competition from Class A and B schools.

Standout performances for the Hawks included Kyle Minow's personal records in both the shot put and the javelin, while Kyle also put in a respectable 2:20 time in the 800 meter, in his first time running the event.

Johnny Richards set a personal record in the triple jump, with a 30' 9.5" jump.
