Teachers honored at retirement party


The Broadus Education Association threw a party for retiring teachers last week. Charlanne Lemke, Jesse Barnhart, and Lynell Denson retire with a combined 105 years of teaching experience.

Three PRCDHS teachers: Lynell Denson, Jesse Barnhart, and Charlanne Lemke, retired at the end of the school year. The teachers were honored with a party held last Tuesday, also receiving plaques from the school district, and flower stands made by the District FFA students.

Lynell has been the Family and Consumer Science Teacher since 2001. She plans on enjoying some travel and vacation time with her husband, Mike.

Jesse Barnhart spent ten years teaching in the Reading Department in Broadus, thirty in the History Department, and a year of PE, as well as teaching Weights throughout the year...
