Locals saddle up at State High School Rodeo

Tate Harmon was the State Saddle Bronc Champion, after last week's State High School Rodeo in Baker, while Garrett Cunningham took second place.

The Montana High School State Finals took place last week in Baker. The events for the Broadus Team began on June 5th, with the Cutting and Reined Cow Horse. Two Broadus teammates, Chalee Harms and Harley Meged, have been at the top of the standings all year long, and the State Rodeo was no different. Chalee Harms was 1st and Harley Meged 2nd in Go Around One of the Girls Cutting. Go Two saw Harley Meged placing 1st, and Chalee Harms 2nd.
