Red Sox and Cubs split wins in Little League Double Header

The Broadus Little League kicked off baseball action on June 3, with a rousing double header featuring the Chaznline Red Sox and Bill Bahny Cubs. Due to some rain delays, the season started a week later than originally planned, but the opening night had beautiful weather. All of the players had a great opening night that saw several great plays in the field as well as some excellent hitting by both teams.

Game number one on the night was controlled by the Red Sox, as they came away with a 12 to 4 victory over the Cubs. Game number 2 was won by the Cubs in a 15 to 7 vi...
