A competitor in the ranch rodeo holds an unruly bovine during the wild cow milking contest.

On Friday evening of Fair Week, the East Fork Rodeo Club held their Ranch Rodeo, at the fairground arena in Broadus. This year, 10 teams competed in the events, along with 7 ranch bronc riders. The events this year were team sorting, team branding, trailer loading, team doctoring and wild cow milking. The winning ranch bronc rider received a pair of handmade spurs (made by Grant Gatlin), a jacket (courtesy of Broadus Boot and Tack), as well as a $500 added purse sponsored by Mills Auction & Real Estate. 1st place in the bronc riding went to Zach Seymour, 2nd was Allen S...
