Our Savior’s Lutheran-ELCA will be holding a “Blessing of the Backpacks” for area youth, this Sunday.

Backpacks and school supplies remind us that school has begun for students of all ages. Children begin preschool and kindergarten; others are moving up in elementary grades. Youth are moving to middle school and high school. Adults of all ages are attending colleges, universities and other places of learning. This blessing reminds us to pray for support, and encourage all students in the coming year.
