Volleyball team wins Ekalaka tournament

The Broadus volleyball team won three well played matches at the Ekalaka tourney last Saturday, to take home first place in the tournament.

Broadus first faced Ekalaka, which had been split into two separate teams in order to fill out a six-team bracket in the tournament. The Ekalaka team Broadus faced included their top Senior athletes, making for tough competition.

The tournament featured three set matches, with the championship round consisting of five sets. Teams at the tournament included Terry, Custer/Hysham, Broadus, Jordan, and the two Ekalaka teams.
