Bill Alderman and Kirk Askin traveled to Forsyth for the Senior State bowling tournament on October 19th. The format for the tournament was a 6 games singles score made up of two, three game sets. There are six divisions based on age at this tournament with winners going on to the National Seniors tournament. In the E division (50-54) Kirk Askin was able to bowl a 693 and 660 set for 1353 and finished third in that division. In the B division (65-69) Bill Alderman was able to put together a 682 and 672 set for 1354 and finished second in that division. Bill would be the first alternate to go to Nationals should the winner decide not to go. Darrell Reinhardt from Laurel won the division with a 1356 score.

Also attending the tournament Saturday were Ron and Ann Roberts from Scobey (formerly of Broadus). It was good to see old friends. Ron had previously won the State B division in 2017 and traveled to Nationals finishing third there.
