Lockwood wins PBR World Title for second time in three years

Powder River County's very own champion, Jess Lockwood, secured his spot in history with a dominant win last weekend at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas. The former Broadus high school State Champion wrestler is now a two-time PBR World Champion, winning his first championship in 2017. Lockwood, at 22 years old, is the youngest bull rider to win two world championships.

Lockwood entered the finals in second place behind Jose Vitor Leme of Brazil, back 749 points. Jess had led the points totals early in the season, but a broken collar bone sidelined the cowboy for nine events. Despite the...
