Wild it was as twenty-eight youth split into four teams and ran the obstacle course which included a crab walk, jumping jacks, stair climb, ride an inflated horse the length of the auditorium (twice), race through the seats, slide down the steps, jump rope and "sing-a-long" with teammates after completing the course!
That was just the beginning of an exciting afternoon and evening of workshops and activities including a pizza party, dance and concluded with the recently released "Lion King" movie, according to Extension Agent Mary Rumph.
Nineteen participants joined nine Teen 4-H members for the annual 4-H Mini-Congress event on Monday, December 30th at the Powder River District High School.
Workshops and presenters included Basketball ABC's by Callie Williams and Kortny Cathey; Games Galore by Garrett Cunningham, Kaydin Trent and Tawna Quiroz; Rice Buddies by Mary Rumph; Fantastic Fun Foods by Oliveah and Zeason Schaffer and Kori Kolka; Crafty Craft by Casey Knobloch and Joan Knobloch; and Bowling with Julie Riley and Kori Kolka. Kyle Minow assisted with organizing both the dance and the movie.
