This recipe comes to us courtesy of Kadence Bowman, daughter of a former Army buddy, Jesse Bowman. Jesse’s mom, Debbie made this recipe, subscribes to the paper, and was a great host and truly wonderful person when I visited their family in Tennessee. ~ BS

Grandma’s Brady Bell Corn

2 cans creamed corn

2 cans whole kernel corn, drained

¾ block of cream cheese

sliced jalapenos to taste

Simmer slowly in saucepan until cream cheese is melted. Add jalapenos, salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
