Hawk Football falls to Fairview

October 22, 2020

The Broadus Hawks football team made the long drive to Fairview last Friday. Conditions for the game were abysmal, with temps in the low 30s and snow for much of the game. Broadus Head Coach Ross Randall told us that Fairview, which currently shares first place in the conference at 6-1 with Scobey and MonDak, demonstrated their grit against the Hawks early in the game.

Broadus made a three and out drive, followed by a Fairview touchdown in three plays, followed by another similar three and out, and then another Fairview score. The game went into a running clock in the first quarter, and Fairview ultimately won 76-6. The Hawks points in the game came on a Solomon Bradley run. Stats for the game were not available.

The season is now in its home stretch, as Broadus played a make-up game against Circle on Tuesday (past our press deadline), and will host Forsyth this Friday at 7 pm for Homecoming, in a game expected to be below freezing at game time. Circle is 3-4 going into this week, while Forsyth is currently 1-6.

Randall has moved some players around for the games this week, as Broadus Running Back Johnny Richards is currently suffering from shoulder problems.

The Hawks are currently 2-4 going into their last games of the season.
