The Broadus FFA chapter went to the annual John Deere Ag Expo on November 13. As well as the various virtual contests, the Agronomy, Sales, and Mechanics contests were held in-person in Forsyth.
The Agronomy team, consisting of Deanna Twedt, Lauryn Billing, Abi Krantz, Alex Edwards, Rheanna Schroeder, and Seth McDowell placed 2nd, with Deanna Twedt placing 5th individually.
The Mechanics team 2 consisting of Gavin Severeide, Payson Kuhbacher, Alex Edwards, and Colton Biesheuvel placed 2nd, and Mechanics team 1 consisting of Garrett Cunningham, Joziah Brost, Seth McDowell, and Kaydin Trent placing 3rd, with Alex Edwards placing 3rd individually.
The sales team consisting of Lea Aye, Marcus Mader, Sophie Irish, and Oliveah Schaffer competed on Saturday, and placed 2nd, with Lea Aye placing 3rd individually.
