This will be our final publication of 2020, as we take a week off over Christmas every year. No major vacations are planned over the break, instead we will be updating some software for the coming year.

In this issue you will find a cornucopia of poems and stories courtesy of Broadus Elementary students, as well as holiday drawings from the Broadus 5th grade students, which we incorporate into ads for local businesses. Funds raised from the ad sales go back to the 5th grade class, and the long standing tradition of this endeavor provides a way for businesses to spread the holiday cheer while helping out the school kids and displaying the kids’ artwork. The tradition has gone on since at least the 1970s –with generations of artists displaying their work in the paper.
