Commissioners met for their weekly meeting with Lee Randall, Donna Giacometto, and John Olson present.

Meeting was called to order. No public comment was received at this time. Consent agenda was approved.

Teel Mullanix, Road Supervisor, met with the board. The MACRS conference that Teel, Rich Aubert and Donna recently attended was discussed. Dust control, rough roads, and the current bridge project were also discussed. Teel received a call with concerns about the dust on his road making calves sick. Solutions were discussed. The Cemetery Road was discussed. It’s too early to start work right now, as the weather is unpredictable. Teel’s plan is to buy some cold patch to fill the holes in the road by the end of this month.

Julie Riley and Karen Amende stopped in to inform the board that Powder River Recyclers will be having volunteers come help clean up the recycling center from 10-12 on Tuesdays.

Teel Mullanix stopped back in to discuss the width of the Moorhead Bridge. It was decided that the new bridge cannot be any narrower than 15’ 6”, and they would like to go wider if the cost isn’t too much higher. Teel contacted Brandon Duffy, Great West Engineering, to request a quote on a larger bridge.

Sean Hill, Medical Administrator, met with the board. Sean presented the new automatic chest compression device. Hill reported 27 residents. The fire alarm at the clinic, the back deck concrete project, and the current phone system were discussed. Sean and Vikki are continuing the paperwork to make the clinic a rural clinic. A total of 543 covid vaccines have been given and 76 of them are still waiting for their 2nd dose. After the upcoming vaccine clinics, everyone on the waiting list will have their shots.

Marty Drane, Maintenance Supervisor, met with the board. Marty was asked about the status of the fire alarm system at the clinic. The board informed Marty of the Capital Improvement Plan for the county that they are working on.

Pat Phillippi, County Treasurer, stopped in to discuss delinquent taxes.

No public comment was heard at this time.

Meeting adjourned.
