Alice Katherine Petersohn

 

Alice Katherine Petersohn, age 95, of Miles City, formerly of Broadus, passed away on June 9, 2021, at Friendship Villa Care Center in Miles City.

Alice was born on September 10, 1925, in Plevna, Montana. The daughter of Albert and Bertha (Delker) Christman. Alice married Leonard Petersohn on March 1, 1947. To this union they had four children: Barbara, Bob, Pat, and Dorothy.

Alice loved spending time cooking, sewing, and gardening. However, spending time with her family is what Alice loved most of all. She had a special love for each member of the family. Holding the new babies in the family was a special event for her. Alice always tried to be present when a grandbaby was born. It was a special day when a great granddaughter was born on her birthday. Taking walks with her grandchildren was also a love of hers and brought out the smiles.

Alice is survived by her children; Barb (Laramie) McMillan, Bob (Carol) Petersohn, Pat (Ken) Jones, Dorothy (Kerry) Thomason, nine grandchildren; Rowdi, Ryen, Shelly, Mike, Andy, Brandon, Brion, Kristen, Matt, twelve great grandchildren; Brody, Rosie, Erik, Ophelia, Kenny, Trisha, Evelyn, Leonard, Weston, Tori, Kori, Isla, baby on the way, two great-great grandchildren; Tanner and Klaire, and a brother, Don (Sandy) Christman.


She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Bertha, her husband Leonard, her brother Ervin Christman, and her sister Margart Radke.

Alice's family would like to thank the wonderful family that she had at Friendship Villa.

A visitation will be held from 9 am to 11 am at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 11 am at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City on Friday, June 18, 2021. Interment will follow at the Custer County Cemetery.
