The VFW Auxiliary met at the VFW Hall for their June monthly meeting June 9, 2021.

Plans for the Sept. 18, 2021 Dist. 6 meeting to be held in Broadus were revisited. Final plans will be made and decided upon at a later date.

The auxiliary was asked to provide food for the time of remembrance for service for Jolene Hopkins to be held June 26, 2021, at the VFW Hall from 1-4 p.m.

The auxiliary will have a float in the July 4th parade. Assemble at the hall at 8:15 to put the float together.

All auxiliary and post members are invited and encouraged to come and ride on the float. Someone invented a “better mousetrap” - We’ll figure out a “best” way to get on the trailer. To ride on the float be there at 9:15. It’s a VFW – Aux. family tradition to be in the July 4th parade. Let’s make it a “big family”.

Our next meeting will be July 14th and fair will be on the schedule.
