Golfers Play in Honor of Don Gatlin

The Don Gatlin Memorial Golf Tournament was held July 22nd at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Broadus. The single day tournament featured 60 golfers in total, with 15 teams of four golfing in honor of Don Gatlin, an all around good guy and avid golfer who passed away last year. The front nine holes were played in a yellow ball scramble format, with the back nine in a modified aggregate scoring format. The winning team consisted of Don's son and grandson, Rick and Court Gatlin, along with Larry Merwin and Hattie Arithson, who golfed a 118.00 score.

Additionally, a putting contest resulted in Todd Gardner and Nicole Gardner each winning a putter.
