The Broadus VFD was presented with a plaque from the McRae family for saving several of their homes in 2021. Pictured above are members of the VFD, along with the presenters. During the 4th of July festivities on Monday, the Broadus Volunteer Fire Department was presented with a plaque from the McRae family, for the department's help in saving five of the family's homes during the 2021 Richard Spring Fire.
