Broadus Mayor Chad Gatlin demonstrates pure class as he prepares to plant a kiss on "Charlotte", Emelyn Harper's 285-pound market hog. Chad was the winner of the "Kiss the Pig" contest, a brilliant production by the 4-H Broadus Sharp Shooters to raise funds for the purchase of equipment for the 4-H shooting sports program. Other contenders for the privilege of kissing the pig were 4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Leader Hattie Arithson, Deputy Ayche Draine and Commissioner Lee Randall.
