"If you are going to take my picture, take it with this watermelon," explained Margaret Scoles, Open Class Garden judge, "It's extraordinary!"

The watermelon was one of many exceptional entries on display at the County Fair held last week in Broadus.

"Powder River County is filled with incredibly talented people, and we are grateful they enter those items in the county fair for all of us to admire," added Scoles.

"I forgot how fun it is to enter things in the county fair," explained an exhibitor who entered in several areas.

Cash awards were presented to the grand and reserve grand champion winners in each division. Sponsors included Tom and Ann Emmons, Art & Soul Artisans Society, Dennis and Bonnie Lyda, Duane and Debbie Talcott, Tim and Gaylene Fortner, Jim and Jacy Collins, John and Di Barbero and MGM Images.
