Fair Showcases 4-H Talent

Andrea Swenson and Brooke Billing are the graduating 4-H seniors. The duo exhibited one last time at the Powder River County Fair. "Congratulations and thanks for the many hours of community service and educational workshops you've provided for the community," commented County Agent Mary Rumph.

4-H members were in the limelight during interview judging on Tuesday at the Fair last week, according to Powder River Extension Agent Julie Riley. During an interview, members were asked what they learned while working on their projects, what they liked best and what they would do differently. Welding judge Lee Randall explained to one exhibitor, "Practice is how you get better," as the exhibitor explained how he struggled with a certain type of weld.
