Semi crashes into building at Boyes

A semi truck crashed into a building at Boyes last week. Building owners should be on the lookout for sinister looking trucks in their vicinity, as this wreck makes for the second semi in less than a month to take out an area building. (Photo courtesy of Charlee Kuhbacher)

For the second time in less than a month, a semi-truck managed to find its way into the side of a building. The first wreck, which was reported on in last week's paper, happened at Belle Creek. The most recent wreck occurred last week, along Highway 212, at Boyes.

A semi carrying oil field pipe was headed west on Hwy 212, and planned to turn left onto the Belle Creek road, at Boyes. A separate semi (reportedly driven by a driver from Ukraine) was behind the oilfield truck, headed west on 212.

According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Hall, the first truck driver followed legal procedure...
