Thirty-four teams entered the Steps for Charity Challenge. That’s 136 people who plan to increase their physical activity in February and March. It’s a win, win situation for individuals, businesses and local charities. Individuals walk more and three local charities will split the registration fees.
Individuals each pay $10 to enter the challenge or a business sponsors them. The team that turns in the most steps in February and March choose the charity that receives 50 percent of the registration fees; the second place team chooses the charity that receives 30 percent, and the thi...
