Gatlin Files for Mayor

The filing deadline for city elections was this Monday. Chad Gatlin filed for Mayor, a position currently held by Lyman Amsden.

A single candidate filed for each of the city council positions; Raevyn Slovek for the Ward 1 position, and Lori Turnbough for the Ward 2 position.

County Election Administrator Cynde Gatlin tells us that current plans are for a mail ballot election, with a general election deadline of November 2nd.
