Cynde Jo Gatlin and Ashley Emmons with the Rolling Hills Golf Course met with the board to request continued funding assistance by the county for the 21-22 fiscal year.

Claims were reviewed and approved for payment of various county departmental expenses as submitted by the Clerk & Recorder’s office.

Council on Aging Board members Lynnette Janssen, Randy Sullivan, Dorothy King, Pat Smith, and Buntsy Burley, along with Director, Rita Harden, met with the board to discuss the 21-22 fiscal year budget. Council requested the board for full support to make Director’s position full time. Budget and programs were then discussed for the center.

Local residents met with the board to discuss visitation at the nursing home. They requested that the commissioners change the visitation rules and find a solution so in the future when the Manor does have a COVID outbreak there is still a way for family members to see their loved ones. Concerns were also expressed regarding the mental state of residents who are unable to see their family. It was stated there are outdoor porch areas and entryways that could be used for visitation areas.

Rita Harden joined the meeting again to conduct the Senior Center budget meeting for FY21-22.

Vanna Byrd, Clerk of District Court, met with the board to conduct the FY21-22 budget meeting.

Clinic employees Vikki Klemm, Kerry Gardner and Sean Hill met with board to conduct the FY21-22 budget meeting.

Darlynn Williams and Sean Hill met with board to conduct the FY21-22 budget meeting for Public Health, tobacco, PHEP and immunization program.

Sean Hill then met with board for his bi-weekly update with the commissioners. Marty Drane stopped in during the meeting to update on the porch project. He stated the pillars are in the concrete and will need to be replaced. The meeting then continued on with discussion on the visitation of residents at the Manor. Hill reported he has received a quote from Ptolemy for phone updates for $7000.00, this included installation, equipment and training. The HVAC system at the Manor cannot run like it needs to and Powder River Heating and Cooling has been contacted for a repair quote. Hill then suggested the county rent an apartment for locums to utilize instead of renting motel rooms. No decision was made. Hill then began the FY21-22 budget meeting for the nursing home.

No public comment was heard at this time.

Meeting adjourned.
