It is about Thanks… and Giving! Do you know a family in need, need a little help yourself or want to donate food for Thanksgiving? The Broadus Food Bank at the Senior Center has Thanksgiving meal items available. Stuffing, cranberries and sweet potatoes are a few of the delicious choices.
Through the MT Food Bank there are also 42 lb. boxes available with shelf stable food items. Boxes arrive once a month and all families, regardless of income, can pick up a box. A simple form is all that is required at time of pick up.
Please visit the Food Bank and see what they have available. Drop off some donations or pick up something to help a family in need. If you have questions or thoughts about families in need, please contact Rita Harden at the Senior Center at 436-2635.
The Elementary Christmas program will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday, December 16th.
