Broadus JH Wrestlers Compete In Lewistown

Four Broadus Junior High Wrestlers competed at the Montana Middle School Championships, last week in Lewistown.

In the 95 lb division, Braydn Stoddard-Terrill was pinned by Ty Laslovich of Chief Joseph Middle School, as well as Ethan Krebs of Colstrip.

Wrestling at 115 lbs, Hunter Stanton lost by pin to Connor Lamping of Champawat School and Straud Simms of Malta.

At 120 lbs, Baylor Kuhbacher pinned Tres Steffenson of Great Falls East in 3:21, then lost by decision to Marcus Howlett of Chief Joseph Middle School in a 10-8 decision. In his third match, Kuhbacher was pinned by Landon Bahmiller of Great Falls North. Baylor scored four team points overall.

Wrestling in the heavyweight division, Kordell Schonenback scored four team points by pinning Rollin Spottedbull of Poplar in 51 seconds. He then lost to Ethan Goodluck of Colstrip by pin, and Tanner McMann of Great Falls East by a 3-2 decision.
