The National Weather Service will be holding a Severe Weather Spotter training course at the courthouse on Tuesday, May 10th. The two hour course Skywarn training course is free to attend and will cover subjects such as thunderstorm basics, identifying potential severe weather, storm structure, the damage caused by severe weather, as well as how to properly report information about severe weather. The course will take place from 6-8 pm at the DES Room (formerly the Assessors office) at the west end of the courthouse.
