Powder River Examiner -

The Moorhead Bridge reopened last week for traffic following its closure in fall of September of 2019 due to structural issues. The new bridge features a modular design, with the project designed by Great West Engineering and work completed by COP Construction from Billings.

The bridge, connecting the east and west sides of the Powder River in southern Powder River County, provides a way for ranchers, hunters, and many others to access portions of the county and beyond, which would otherwise require a 30 plus mile trip to Broadus.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is being planned for the near future by the commissioners.
