Library Notes

July 2022

We’ve been having a lot of fun this summer with our Summer Reading Bingo program. The library received a grant from Town Pump, so we have been buying new books and gift certificates from around Broadus, in keeping with Shop Local. We had our first drawing on July 1st; the adult winner of a gift certificate from Powder River Petals was Leann Rhodes, Anna Hagedorn won a gift certificate from Western Chick in the older kids’ category, Walter Desatoff and Layla Brownfield each won certificates for St. V’s, and Arctic Rohrer and Jesse Barnhart won gift certificates from Grant’s Hardware. Our next drawing is next Friday, July 29th. With even one entry it’s possible to win! We’ll have our last drawing on August 31st.

We have been having Craft Tuesday with the StoryTime kiddos. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, but I think the parents enjoy it as much as the kids!
