The cemetery road repaving project was begun and completed last week, using BARSAA funds, which are state funds allocated to counties for road and bridge projects. Three lifts were used on the road, which ties the town of Broadus to the cemetery, and the road is much improved from years past.

On Monday, Sacrison Paving from Whitewood, SD repaved two water main projects, one near the library and another on the corner near Evergreen Apartments, both on Lincoln Avenue for folks who know the street names. Local youth were seen investigating the new pavement on their bikes soon after school released on Monday.
