Campbell County Museum Archaeology Fair Takes Place This Saturday

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum invites you to join us on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 10 am – 4 pm for our NE Wyoming 1491: Campbell County Rockpile Museum Archaeology Fair 2022.

This event is being held to commemorate and celebrate the month of September as Wyoming Archaeology Awareness Month as designated by the Governor, Mark Gordon.

Come celebrate Wyoming Archaeology Awareness Mon-th at the Campbell County Rockpile Museum with a day packed with interactive experiences that will demonstrate how the work of archaeology informs us of what life was like in Northeast Wyoming before European contact.

September 17th is also Smithsonian magazine Museum Day which means Admission to the Museum and the Fair are free.

All activities related to the Archaeology Fair will be happening in the fields below the Rockpile Museum. Guests are encouraged to use the entrance off 1st Street or take the staircase behind the Museum Annex building to access the event.
