Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioners Donna Giacometto and John Olson were present.
Minutes were approved and ordered published from meetings July 29, August 1, August 8, August 15, August 18 and August 22, 2022.
The board left the office and toured the Cemetery Road project.
Commissioners reviewed and continued discussion on budgets.
Paige Powell, Director of Nursing at the Manor, met with the board. Discussion was held on the FTE’s needed for the nursing staff. The board will take her recommendations into consideration for budgeting.
The board adjourned at noon and will reconvene Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioners Donna Giacometto and John Olson were present.
Teel Mullanix, Road Supervisor, met with the board. The Road Department has purchased a new pickup and Mullanix will offer his outdated pickup to the Maintenance Department. The motor in the yellow tractor is out. Sacrison Paving informed the Road Department when the weather turns cold the Road Department will need to create a shoulder on the road. Mullanix conducted a general road update.
Resolution 2022-20, Capital Improvement Vehicle Fund Transfer, John Olson motioned to approve, Donna Giacometto seconded, motion carried.
The board reviewed and signed the 2022-23 Montana Department of Livestock contract for $14,035.00.
Nursing home pay scale and budgets were reviewed and discussed.
Local residents met with the board to offer assistance with the Linus Project. The board recommended the ladies reach out to Crissy Johnson to assist in the project.
Donna Giacometto left the meeting.
The board joined the Predator Control Board for a joint meeting.
Brittani Aurand, Activities Director, met with the board to discuss budget requests.
Jeff Noble stopped in to visit with the board.
The board heard no further public comment and adjourned at 5:00 p.m. and will reconvene on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
