Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioner John Olson was present. Commissioner Donna Giacometto was attending the MACO conference.

Consent agenda was read and approved.

Teel Mullanix, Road Supervisor, met with the board. They discussed the Landfill Road. The Road Department attended training in Miles City for gravel specs, construction zones and culvert, state updates and requirements. CDL requirements and federal guidelines have changed, and Mullanix suggested the county pay for CDL testing if the county requires a CDL. No decision was made. They discussed the recent road tour the commissioners took and the concerns they have for Ranch Creek Road.

Billy Stuver, Editor, stopped in to inquire on the recent resignation of Sheriff Drane.

Resolution 2022-24- Amend Adoption of County Compensation Schedule For Elected Officials, John Olson motioned to approve, Lee Randall seconded motion, motion carried.

Resolution 2022-25- Resolution to Amend the LPN & MDS Coordinator Positions in the Powder River County Pay Scale, John Olson motioned to approve, Lee Randall seconded motion, motion carried.

Sean Hill cancelled his scheduled meeting. He is attending a medical conference.

Ambulance 2 bid opening. Lori Balcer from Sawtooth joined meeting. Bids Received: Sawtooth Emergency Vehicles, $194,800; Arrow Manufacturing (with three options), $269,900; Apgar Ambulance, $198,000. The board made no final decision and will agenda the ambulance bid award at a later meeting date.

The board will reconvene Friday, September 30, 2022.

Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioners John Olson and Donna Giacometto were present.

Consent agenda was read and approved.

Adam Johnson, EMS Director, met with board to update on the recent accident. EMS policy and procedures were discussed.

Claims were reviewed and approved for payment of various county departmental expenses as submitted by the Clerk & Recorder’s office and can be reviewed at Clerk & Recorder’s office upon request.

The vacant Sheriff position was discussed. Commissioner John Olson motioned to appoint Devin Boman, Sheriff-Elect, as Powder River County Sheriff effective midnight on September 30, 2022, Commissioner Donna Giacometto seconded motion, motion carried.

Commissioner Donna Giacometto left meeting at 2:00 p.m.

The board reviewed employee time sheets, correspondence, and other administrative issues.

Having completed all current business for the day, the board adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
