This week, BHS' Zoe Page (pictured above) received a scholarship to the International Music Camp at the International Peace Gardens in Dunseith, North Dakota next summer. The scholarship is in memory of former BHS student, Allen Sickles, a 1971 graduate.
Sickles' sister, Dr. Caryl Semmler, said her brother loved being in band in high school and wanted to honor his memory by providing an opportunity for a Broadus student to advance their musical ability.
The renowned International Music Camp has been providing students with opportunities for growth in fine arts since 1956.
